I do the same thing except for the milk, and I'll use butter if I don't have any bacon fat. I season them and dredge in a little flour and sear them in the fat/onions. Then I turn the heat down and deglaze the pan with merlot and a little chicken stock and let it reduce a little. It makes a great sauce. I'll have to try the milk thing next time.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?

Do try the milk soak, Jake. It really helps liver become soft as butter and breaks down any of the connective type tissue that can make liver a bit on the chewy or tough side. I just pop the liver into a bowl, cover in whole milk and some saran wrap and let it sit in the fridge for 24 hours before I cook it.

    Re: Fave Wierd food

People always like to say I eat weird food, or have the 'preggers' combos... But then they try it and end up loving too... LOL...

I LOVE any sort of seafood, in all forms - sushi and mixed seafood alfredo among fav dishes... And can't stand beef that isn't bleeding (my family actually thinks its gross how rare I like steak), if a roast is done more than medium I sort of just 'pick' at it to be polite.

"odd" combos BBQ sauce and mayo and cheese doritos on any sort of burger - beef or chicken. Perch fillets with artichoke + asaigo cheese filling and wrapped in bacon(super yummy)... Spinach dip and cheese doritos.

I have a weakness for pickled eggs and smoked salmon too - but not the store bought smoked salmon, only my dads - it's drier more like beef jerky and much saltier... Plus, it's in big chunks, not thin little slices. And I put zucchini in just about everything, pasta sauce, chili, salsa, stir-fry, roasted veggies...

I guess the wierdest thing about my eatting habits though is that I refuse to cook or eat anything that comes in a box or involves a microwave. I only use fresh meat and veggies, I make my own sauces, do my own baking and only rarely even use frozen veggies...

Peanut butter and mayo sandwich. Ox tail. cow toung sandwich ( has to be sliced uber thin) All things sushi. Haggus if its real spicy. And when I went to Thailand I had a shot of bat blood that is suppose to be an aphrodisiac. I've eaten some really really bad things too. These are just the things that are good.
