JBall - Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so! I have a small gallery of some various pictures of my last stud. He was stolen in September , still trying to find him.

He was stolen only a couple weeks before his Pennhip and CERF testing, and if I had him now we would be preparing for Irondog and WABA competitions to start him breeding this year. I had a few females lined up, was in the process of purchasing an adult female but when he was taken I put all my money into trying to find him. I fear I will never get him back

The rest are not born yet, but are paid for. I'm getting some nice old southern line and new working line pups to start over again.

And all this free time I seem to have has brought to mind other interests and that is why I am here. Nothing like a few extra bucks and an empty house to remind you of things you want haha.

Thank you Franky, I've been scanning through the various forums and reading all the stickies I come across and trying to absorb it all. I ran out of ink earlier after printing about 50 pages worth of info. Since books are cheaper than the ink my printer takes I ordered a few from Amazon to get readin. I will surely pick your brains if I find I have questions that are unanswered.

I am lucky though, my background in equine and canine genetics prepared me for the world of morphs. My brother looks at the screen like it's all written in Chinese and I'm nodding my head with a "That makes perfect sense" look

Sorry to hear about your stolen dog! Its GREAT to hear that you actually compete your dogs, I've wanted to get into that kind of thing in the future.

    Re: Howdy!

Yeah I do show in conformation but that most certainly isn't all I require in my dogs. Just because a dog is pretty doesn't make it a breeding quality dog in my book. I am extremely ambitious and cross train for multiple sports and titles. Competition Obedience, Agility, Endurance and several different protection sports. I shoot for at least 5 titles on a breeding dog.

I recently switched from a Schutzhund type of training to ringsport training for French Ring and Mondioring alongside the Irondog and WABA protection sports and Endurance tests. Main reason is my dogs are actual protection dogs not just weekend warriors. I'd much rather have an extreme athlete guarding my home than a pampered couch potato

I am still in the learning curve for Mondioring my next pups will all be ringsport dogs. I am very excited.
