For those that feed on a schedule.. ??

I have never had this question come up, mainly because my Ball python will eat during shed, and never misses a meal.

For those of you who have snakes that refuse to eat during shed, do you feed the day following a shed if it isn't your scheduled feed day? If they happen to shed, say one to two days after the normal feeding day. Or do you wait until the following week and feed on their normal schedule?

I usually wait till the following week because its easier to keep everyone on the same schedule. I used to feed the day after sheds but it became a hassle when all the snakes were on a different feeding schedule.

Thanks guys. Makes sense. I tried to feed my boa but he was in shed. He shed monday and I fed tuesday. So I will just wait from now on. Seems easier than getting everyone all mixed up.

Feeding day is feeding day, if a snake refuses on that day he will have to wait another week.

Remember missing a meal will not hurt.
