Re: any earlobe stretchers?
I have mine stretched to a 6 and will probably stop here. I was going to go up to a 0, but I paid too much for my 6ga rings, so I stopped for a while, now I'm not sure I want to go any bigger cuz of the job thing. Honestly, if you want to do it, go for it. To echo someone's earlier post, go up one size at a time, lube up and go for it. Either that or use a stretcher like the one below. Just again, use lubricant so you don't tear your lobes...

I have mine gauged to 12mm. I did it all natural also. It hurts but only a few days with the worst pain the first day till the swelling goes down. Its not that bad though. I am about to do it again with my 2nd earholes but only to around a 4g. I think its worth it because I love the earrings

Re: any earlobe stretchers?
I see this is an old thread but I just wanted to ask - I've wanted to get my lip pierced for AGES but never have for two reasons: A- because of WAY too many years of braces, my lips don't close or come together naturally. They are forever open just a tad so that you can see a tiny bit of my teeth. I hate it, and I think it would be stupid to put a ring through something I hate. B- I'm afraid I won't be able to get a respectable job. I'll be graduating college soon, and figure now's not the time to go tearing up my face.
Anyone have any opinions or suggestions? I've also wanted what's been called a "maddison piercing" which is basically a lower throat piercing. But my boyfriend hates body mods and I think they're SO hot. I'm stuck between my opinions and his.

Re: any earlobe stretchers?
Didn't follow the whole thread... so my apologies if this is repeated info...
I had my lower lobes stretched an inch and a half and all my mid lobes and upper ear piercings strteched to a 4 ga.
You don't have to worry about the cat's asterik syndrome, once you take them out they shrink back if you haven't had them scalped.
One of the reasons I stopped was that all my piercings were infringing on each other, and if I didn't scalplel them I would have kept having recurring probs.
I had both my conchs pierced. But if you want to stretch them they are a beach. I would recommend having them punched at whatever ga you want to end up with, as the cartliledge is pretty unforgiving and doesn't stetch (it splits).
Same with moving up a gauge... I would recommend 6 weeks minimum b/w size increments. Moving too fast will result in infection, split skin, etc.
Just my 2 cents.
Bruce
I stopped at 25 facial piercings and am down to a mere 2... one is each upper ear.

I like the cleft piercing, I dont know if they call it that, but it's below the lips in the cleft of your chin. It 'shouldnt' go below your teeth, but i have always thought it was really hot. It's not in the lip, but its a nice compromise.
A lower throat piercing may be the way to go if you don't want employers to look at you different. I work for a large, LARGE company with a very professional dress code. They would not tolerate any face piercings, except the nose piercing. The nose is so popular these days with woman on any level.

Re: any earlobe stretchers?
Never heard of throat piercings being called anything except tracheal piercings... although that is a misnomer.
Maybe it depends on how far down it is.
I think my fav are the nape piercings (back of the neck) and if I ever wanted to be entirely self-indulgent I would get my uvula pierced.
And before anyone misreads that... "the small, fleshy, conical body projecting downward from the middle of the soft palate." In other words that dangly thing in the back of your throat.
Connie...
Not sure how popular it is right now, but there were some piercers that were working in chin piercings... that went in the front and came out the bottom. The jewelery is at a 90 degree angle (curved). You get the piece on the cleft... and then a nice pointy dagger (etc) coming out the bottom.
Love that one.

Re: any earlobe stretchers?
That one is awesome, I just don't know if I could deal with the pointy part, I would have to learn to sleep on my side LOL. I like to sleep smothered in my pillow.
I want the one that starts in the lip and come out under the lip just like what you described.
I found the exact pic!

Re: any earlobe stretchers?
Cool. I am going to get some itty-bitty jewelry to start stretching, this weekend. I know a little about ear pain. I got mine pierced at 14 by someone with a "gun" at the mall.. they closed up and I had to re-do them myself around age 18. Now they are good to go.. but I want to stretch a little.
Are you talking about a Labret (said like la-bray) piercing Connie? Those are really nice on women.. my friend has one. She can wear a ring that either goes around her bottom lip on the outside, or comes out as a spike facing down toward her chin. Thus, it is a versatile piercing!
