When? Oh right~ I think that's the show Pat was talking about in 8Ball chat last night. It's in June, the 21 and 22?? As (non)luck would have it, I'll be in Phoenix attending a week long colloquium for my master's program. Hubby and son and Rottie will drive down to pick me up so we can get in some hiking and camping on our way back to Oregon. Darn!

I'm looking up directions since we'll be driving down and just the drive itself without any stops is about 10-11 hours. Not as bad as I thought it would be.

We are looking up other ways to get down there other than driving and a plane, but so far it looks like we'll be driving.

It is roughly a 10 1/2 hour drive. For most people.

However..I am not most people. ( ) I made the trip down there in 10 1/2 hours...and I made it back home in 9. It would have been 8 1/2 but I got stuck in traffic for 35-40 mins.




I will be driving down and back again this year.

Looks like we'll be driving too. Now we need to figure out when to leave. We are thinking of leaving on the 22nd at night and getting there in the morning. I'm hoping to make hotel reservations by the end of next week.
