When you offer a rat and the snake is all calm and slow about getting it. You ever see them do that?
Yes, usually Jelly accepts food "casually". After I drop a f/t rat into this enclosure, he'll slowly slither up to it, smell the rat for a minute or two, then just open his mouth and start swallowing. No strike or constriction...with the exception of last night's surprise!
