Re: Today's the day for my checkup
Hi Steve,
It must be very hard for you to have your mortality called into question on a frequent basis and to have no control over the outcome.
My daughter has leukemia and is weighing quality of life over medicated life, with the end result being the same in both scenarios. It is very hard on her to deal with this on any level given that she has two young sons to think about.
Be brave and love life. Take care.

Thanks again everyone for the continued support.
Starmom - I won't lie and say that either way its good. But, God has a way of comforting me that cannot be equaled. Cancer has brought me into a closer relationship with God, and that has to be a good thing! As a result, I hope that my checkup comes back clear of course. But if it doesn't, I know that God is in control, and He will take care of me (and my family) no matter the outcome. My kids are grown, so I know that makes a difference, too. I'll be adding your daughter and your family to my prayers.

Medicinal Marijuana is another alternative your daughter could take. You live in a MM state(Medicinal Marijuana). MM is most prescribed for cancer and those sort of things as it has been shown to help immensely.

She has a very rare opportunity that most people don't have because of where they live.
I hope she feels better and Steve, I'm glad your checkup came back clean.

Hi Jeff~
I am a staunch supporter for medical marijuana, but my daughter doesn't live in Oregon. Darn!!

Thats unfortunate, if things get worse maybe living at home and giving MM a try. I hope all is well.
