Are you a "Jeep Person?" Someone who has to pimp their Jeep out with bumpers, tops, rims, diamond plating, winches, the like? I sure am.. although my $$ as of late is tighter than a locking differential.

    Re: Post your rides!

I don't have any other pics of my Ranger but i walked out to my truck one morning and the cup had been making perfect circles in the dew.

And this is one of the cars that i used to slave over at my last shop. I spent more time with it than the owner did.

And these are the cylinder head and piston when I blew it up on the Dyno

I seriously almost threw up when I pulled that head off. If you look at the head studs you can still see the assembly lube from when i had put it together a few days before. That was a $1400 hunk of aluminum down the drain, and it wasn't even my fault!

    Re: Post your rides!

No boost. Just a 302 stroked to 331. This was a head combination we had used several times before but i think the company had changed the valve margin thickness on us and things touched. It was the wierdest thing in the world. I was driving it on the dyno and about 5500 rpm you just felt the power fall. No bang and no clouds of smoke. So i lifted took it out of gear and shut it off. Fortunately we were able to get that cylinder bore sleeved and save the block. But the rest of the valve was in the oil pan and the head was trashed.

    Jen

I am and have been a jeep guy since high school although I have had some cars in between. This jeep was the first new car I ever bought. It is stock outside of the rims and tires, and yes for sure I would love to upgrade it. It boggles my mind at the cost of jeep parts though. I have also noticed you are into guns also and have some nice stuff, I will have to post a few of my guns.

ZOOM ZOOM! Well actually it sounds more like WEEEEEAH WEEEAH!
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?
