    eh? hmmm so a 28q for my female and just put some air holes in the side i got a rack but im Qting them for 3 months whats the best heat i can get and wher can i get a Hum thingy that makes the Hum%lvls go up and will read them

    Check out this thread, I hope it's what your looking for.

    As for the humidity, you control it by how many holes are in the tub, if any. We use substrate to help keep the levels up in ours, there are many different ways to do it.

    You can buy thermometer/hygrometers at walmart for 12$. they also come with a probe to put on the hot spot.

    Flexwatt isn't readily available in a store, but reptile basics carries it, and he can even wire it up for you.

    If your using lids, then yes, you will need many holes. We have everyone on our shelfs with a gap between the shelf and the tub, so we dont need any holes.

    how big of a gap? ..aslo like i dont wanna spend 200 bucks on a Hum thing to make the Hum go up i dont see the need in that i mean if the Hum is not right could this coz a problem??????

    No, you dont need a humidifier thing. Amount of holes or gap, substrate, water bowl size and misting are all easier and better than a humidifier specifically for the tubs themselves.

    We have I think is 3/16 of an inch... it varies a little. We wanted it to be about 1/8 of an inch. lol
