That is AWESOME!!! It sounds like you have REALLY really thought this through & are taking lots of precautions. The *only* suggestion I would make at this point - because it sounds like you have all of your bases covered very well - is to do all of your husbandry in your established collection before ever doing anything with the RTB that is in QT. I know that sometimes things come up that require a keeper to go back & forth, but if we all get into the habit of "established first, new animals last" in terms of routine, it can potentially cut down on cross-contamination issues. I'm sure you already know this (again, I'm sincerely impressed at how you have handled everything thus far), but it certainly doesn't hurt to repeat.

thanks, i've kept arachnids for 10 years so i was using the same QT techniques that i've used with them.. and i'm obsessed with cleaning, so it comes naturally

so far i don't think any of my other snakes gotten an RI or mites.. i got paranoid that my male BP caught the RI so i took him to the vet and hes perfectly healthy.
I feed my snakes (and change water dishes, spot clean bedding) every tuesday, so i changed the RTBs day to wednesday so I don't get things mixed up.
and I always change her newspaper/soak her at night right before i go to bed, so shes always the last snake to be handled/cleaned.
