If your looking for an animal to handle regularly, perhaps a blood isn't for you. They are slugs. Beautiful and my favorite, but not much in the way of activity lol. Also, how long have you had snakes for? Would you be able to identify the subtle problems? Can you meet all the financial responsibilities?

Perhaps not a huge blood right now, but a sumatran short tail. If you want to get into bloods, go for them. Smaller, and a calmer disposition, plus, they're black. cant go wrong with a little darkness.

If yes, then go for it. Make sure to research potential sellers, and as always, practise good quarantine.

well im trying to have some hands on experience before i go to collage im going to study herpotoligy and what i mean by hands on means not im going to dump em im going to have them untill they die of old age hopefully .
and i wont lie to you i have been experienced with snakes for around a year now and i have a saveings acount just for my snakes like for the vet new cages and stuff like that i got 500$ right now . and i read on short tails and bloods i just dont understand the differnces is it because of the behaviors and where their from ? thanks for the respond
