Re: Interesting fenomena
Occasionally one of mine will end up constricting in the water bowl. I'll gently pick them up and set them someplace dry. Never had a problem with the bps.
BUT, I don't remember where I saw it, but I saw someone that needed to do something with a very large python (retic, rock, ....) I think it was an injection or something. They fed it, and waited till the snake had the prey about half way in its mouth, then proceeded. I decided to try this with a wild bull snake last year. I had no idea that they could spit out a prey item that fast! That snake was prepared to bite quicker than you could say "spit"!!!

Most of mine do that too. I do have a few that will do it but once the rat/mouse is dead they wont have anything to do with it if I have moved the snake. Thats only one or two the rest it doesnt bother them.

A long time ago, I had a corn snake. I dropped a mouse in its cage, the snake didn't see it, and continued to come up out of the cage to get the mouse. I reached in to redirect the snake and show it where the mouse was. I got bit, the only time that snake ever bit me. That was an SFE (stupid feeding error).
