I am no where near as fluent as Kim. Actually I don't know one word, but I would still like to say welcome aboard, and hopefully you will have plenty of fun.

    Re: New member from Italy

I'm not fluent at all, actually! It's only my third semester into the language...but it's nice to practice it on someone from Italy For all I know, what I said to him could be garbley. I know I notice when someone's typing in not-so-fluent English (Francesco's English is very good--as is our own GABallPythons , but that isn't always the case).

Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?

You're very close! It's supposed to read (assuming I got the Italian right ):

"Hello, Francesco, how are you? I study Italian at the University (My Italian...it's not so good). Where do you live in Italy? You have a lot of snakes, do you have pictures? Welcome to BP.Net!"

I've never been to Italy (though it is on my list of places to visit!). My friend, Roselle has family in Calabria, which is in the South. My Italian professor is from Piedmonte, in the North. I think I'll go look at your website for pictures
