I wish that all of the folks I hold dear - including our wonderful gang here @ B-P.net - find contentment & significance in the upcoming new year. Not just fleeting happiness, but a true, soul-comforting contentment that is both a boon through the happy times and a salve through trying times.
I wish that we all do some serious soul-searching, and re-define what it is to love & be loved...to understand that both infatuation & frustration come and go (and are linked in cycles), and that to love someone or something is a choice that we all make, if we're fortunate enough to discern & understand. How we live those choices are what defines us in how we relate to others & ourselves.
I wish that every single serious snake keeper here on B-P.net hatches something new & cool that we absolutely cannot live without!!!!!!!!!!!
And also, (Wish 2, part B, chapter 3, section 1, continued), I wish that everyone here will do their part to make another keeper's herp experience that much better. Do something awesome for someone else...commit random acts of kindness with the instructions to Pay It Forward, so that we can all make something excellent of this hobby, and keep it going, especially as the anti-herp folks try to push us down in the future! WE are the momentum that moves herpetoculture forward - if you don't think you're a part of it, here's your wake up call!!! - and it is up to us to make this as positive an experience as possible for our friends & fellow keepers. Do your part, and help someone else do theirs...otherwise, we're just wasting time.
