    handling

    my BP seems to be in his hides all the time and then gets active when im going to bed. i want to handle him more but dont no when i should get him out because i dont want to aggravate him. any suggestions?

    You could handle him for maybe 10 minutes every other day.Of course leave him alone for 48hrs after eating to prevent a regurge

    I would suggest when you have the free time .If the evening is better for you and he is active then it should be less stressfull for him.

    When my girl is in her hide, I just tap the top of it lightly to let her know I'm 'there', then lift it slowly off her. Since the caves I use have an inside ledge of sorts, she usually comes up with it so I tilt the cave to put my hand under her. If she climbs on, I know she wants to be held.
