    Re: Feeding problem.

Thanks guys. I only been feeding him 2 med rats a week based on a response earlier this year when I had concerns about him not eating enough or picking up weight. When hefelt like his skin was "loose" feeling.
Dr Del: the probes are right at the top of where his hot side hide is not inside.
Its just been a little weird that nothing really has changed (except bedding and water bowl size whch was suggested by a breeder). his temps and humidity have all been the same. he's been no problem at all since the end of july. just lately hes alot more active and spends very little time sleeping or hiding. but is not inerest in eating.
It also seems like he is craving more attention too. if he is in his hide and i sit next to my desk which his tank is to the right of me. He'll pop his head out and then rest it on his hide looking straight at me almost to say "Hey, you gona play with me".

Usually what we interpret as "play with me" or an active BP are no more than signs of stress. The common behavior for a BP is to hide and sleep during the day, and come out at dawn and dusk to hunt or roam.
Most times, an active BP that is not hiding is stressed out, and like Deb said, it's usually the enviroment.

Of course, he could want to breed, BUT I have no idea how boys act when they want to breed, so we will let someone else chime in about that.

When is the last time he made a stool. Sometimes if you feed a snake too much too fast they can have difficulty pooping.
