    Re: Deposit on female cinny

I have one of John's cinny females in layaway as well! Nice thing for me, he is local (sorta) and I got to look at all of them. They are VERY pretty snakes, you will love yours. One thing to keep in mind, John feeds live African Soft Furred rats that he breeds. I'm hoping that doesn't become an issue when I get mine from him (I'm getting a very yellow blond pastel male as well), but I'm going to ask to buy a couple of them to scent the F/T rat pups I'll be feeding them once they get home.

I was debating on the one that I picked and the one you picked actually, now that I look closer at your picture. She was the biggest in the bunch, but something just kinda got me about the one I went with. Rest assured, you are getting a beautiful cinny, the fading and blushing on these are great. Pewters soon to come for me!!

Actually, I don't think he is feeding ASFs anymore...I believe I have the last of his ASFs in my spare bedroom at the moment. I got to meet him last weekend when we were passing through and I picked up the ASFs and one of his adult normals, and he seemed really nice.

Congrats on the soon to be pick-up! I purchased a Blonde Pastel Male from John a few months back and all was "top notch". Pictures do not do his animals justice.

Hey Drew... My Blonde Pastel from John took f/t without any issues. Once he settled in (about a week) he began pounding f/t rat pups like a champ. He's been eating consistantly (weekly) since August. Outside of his little attitude, he's been wonderful.

Lol, yeah I noticed a bit of attitude from them! John's got a lot of snakes, he can't get them out to play as much as I get my two girls out. Good to know that they have a good feeding response. I got my flexwatt and helix today, should have my pastel next week and maybe be able to bring the cinny home the week after. I'm stoked!

Funny...I just put a down payment on a male cinnamon pastel and a female mojave a few hours ago from Tim Bailey. The possibilities are pretty awesome. Good luck with yours!

    Re: Deposit on female cinny

Thanks everyone. I'm getting even more excited about her, and I'm defineately planning to make some pewters. I'm hoping to hit the odds and produce a male bumble bee next year, so I might be able to get some pewters and cinna bees in 2 years from her. I'm looking at a few female YBs right now too, so I should be able to produce some killer combos in the next few years. But for now I'll just simmer down and focus on this season.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?
