Re: Naming Morphs
I have to admit that the common moniker "royal" python used in Europe sounds more elegant and beautiful than "hi, i'm skeered and coiling up into a ball" python, hehe...=)

Another question to add to this is :
If someone advertises their snake as say "2006 male 100% Het. Albino Ball Pythons"
What exactly does that mean? Does that mean there is a 100% chance to get an albino out of the breeding of it, and how do you tell what percentage het your snake is?

I'm gonna save you the trouble of looking at that link...
There is no percentage of being a heterozygous animal. Either they are, or they're not. the percentages you see are only the odds that the animal you bought IS het, not how het he is.
a 100% het albino male has a 100% chance of being het for albino. It is guaranteed, basically. If you breed that to a het albino, or homozygous albino female, odds are that you'll get a least a few albino babies.
a 50% het albino male has a 50% change of being het for albino. You've got a 50/50 shot that he is or isn't. If you breed your 50% het male to a 100% het albino female or a homo albino female, you'll most likely either prove that he is het albino or not. The odds might not be in your favor, though, so a second season may be necessary.
You will, however, never have a 50% albino, even if it would be cool to see.
