Re: How to Place Males and Females Together.

ok new question: how long do you keep a pair together?

right now i am pairing 1.1 up for 3 days and then giving the male and female a rest for another 3 days.
i have noticed so far that the male will copulate with the female for a full day then they will seperate and sit at oppostie ends of the enclosure. usually this happens on the third day so i seperate them and rest, feed and rest them and together again they go after a few days.

    does this sounds ok?

Adam recommended to me that I pair them for three days, separate for four and offer food to both at the beginning of their four day break.

So, I'm putting Oliver in with Echo Tuesday nights, separating them Friday nights (if not locked) and feeding them on Saturday.

Well first the boy snake phones the girl snake to see if she's busy or not on Friday night.

Then the boy snake shows up with flowers and a rat...then...

My schedule is very similar for my 1.1 pairs, but I'm doing 4 on 3 off. He goes in on Monday night, out Friday night, eat Saturday, then back in on Monday...
