    Exceptional normal male

This little guy is the pet of my roomate, and there's a better than average chance he's going to find his way into our breeding program. He just keeps getting nicer, the older he gets. He came from a pet store, but was bred by crestedgecko.com

nice bright color! and i love the black spot in his neck stripe!

ari, each person has their own opinions on what makes the best norm bp. some like a busy pattern like this one and some like clean reduced pattern. some like lighter color, some like dark. to each their own.

He has tons of yellow, very bright, light, and cleaner than most.
I'll take some pics of him next to one of the other normal-looking snakes later on, for the contrast. Right now, they're still in quarantine, so can't put them together.

Very nice, if you said he was a pastel you could have fooled me.

I guess that really depends on what you consider clean.

    just sayin'

He is a nice bp but I see nothing 'exceptional' about him.

    imo.

    Re: Exceptional normal male

Got any pics of better normals?
I think people are bit too obsessed with the morphs, personally. I have an interest in very good-looking normals. High yellow, holding color with age, etc. I'd like to see more examples of them.

Well beauty is often in the eye of the beholder however to me THIS (http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...threadid=55639) is the prime example of an exceptional clean individual.
