I think just getting her exposed to snakes is the best thing to do here. In general, I would go for smaller snakes but not so small that they are squirmy. Small, fast, and squirmy things tend to put people off too.
BP's are great for winning people over beause there are very good looking and laid back. However, an adult might be a bit intimidating. if you could get her to touch or hold a juvenile between 2 and 3 feet that would be a great step!
she has gone down the touching/petting a snake but stilll says she doesnt like them but what i dont get is if she can touch them and not freak why wont she let me have one?
well only few more months untill i leave school and go to work
keep the moments coming and any advice plzzzzzzzzzz
Are any your parents afraid of snakes? That could be a reason. OT: The first time I saw Maver (my checkered Garter) eat a worm was certainly something to remember. I was so fascinated of how he does it. I also witnessed him shedding his skin. It sort of looks like another snake coming out of his body.

Tonight, I was cleaning out Dakota's enclosure and I put him in a box to wait until I was finished. I went about the job of cleaning everything and began to set up his enclosure. When I turned around, just his head was sticking out of the top of the box, watching the world - it was a very cute snake moment.

That's wonderful! I am glad you are feeling good and responsible. Sounds like a good focus. Keep it up!
