Yea, and it's also weird cause the word can have a different meaning in different places.
Like you picked the word "tight" which equals "cool".
But I've used it and I've heard it being used with (example) "My parents are so tight lately" or "It's tight that I have to go to the museum"

So I guess in the first example tight would = not very nice, or not giving and the second example tight would = sucks.

Slang is slang. Even our use of "cool" is pretty weird if you think about it. An adjective that means something's not hot nor freezing.. meaning that you like something??
People imitate what they hear in rap "music" a lot..

get yo (noun) on - example: get yo grind on
long O = 'or - open tha do; got down on tha flo

I finsta get my grind on. Bia, you finna get low to tha flo?

Yeah.... I'm lost. I tend to use words such as Spiffy, Nifty, or my own accidently made up mistake TWIBBITS....don't ask what I was trying to say, I really don't remember. But the point is, they don't have alternate meanings.

However I have said 'Wicked' 'Sweet' and splendiforous..... o.O
