    Male Barranquilla Boa. 12yrs Old.

Sniper hit 12 years yesterday (June 27). This particular snake has been my pride and joy since the start.

I had our deck rail redone 2 years ago and it is already trashed, apologies for the appearance. However, the snake is looking great and that's what this thread is about.

The boy is long and very lean. He eats 1.5 - 2 pound rabbits, large quail and large rats. The variety in prey type and size is beneficial.

The span of the rail from corner to corner is 8 feet. I think Sniper is 6.5 to 7 feet long. I have not measured him in years.

A long lived, healthy animal has always been the goal here and I look forward to another 12 years. Happy Birthday buddy!

    Thanks for looking.
