I put him in a large bin separate from his tank with some paper towels because his substrate was getting into his wounds, I also cleaned his wounds with just water as i don't own any betadine. I was able to find a vet a bit closer due to the link so thank you. I am trying to scrounge up any cash I have laying around so I can take him to the vet as soon as possible but I cant get him there until at least the end of the week maybe later.

Unlike exotic vets, Betadine is neither expensive nor far away. You'll find it in the first-aid section of your local drugstore. That little bit of effort and expense will go a long way toward helping your snake pull through.

No sense in kicking yourself over your mistakes. We've all made them. Learn from them and move on. A neurological condition is challenging for even experienced keepers to handle. So, if you find you can't handle it, there is no shame in surrendering him to someone who can.
