Grow tent
So I’m wondering how many people on here have bps in grow tents? Are they good for heating/humidity? Any tips?

Can you clarify what you mean by "grow tent"? Any particular brand & model? Because success probably depends a lot on a specific product.

Personally, no, but I can remember someone else asking about them a while back, maybe a year ago? (in general, not that specific one) I don't know if they ever went ahead to try it. I seem to recall there were some major disadvantages brought up, so they probably didn't?
Here it is- the discussion was like 3+ years ago-

I would just worry about them pushing on the zipper and popping them open. Or somehow causing issues with the structure and how it's attached if it's an internal one.
It really would just depend on the tent I suppose.

For the Americans, that's a 4 x 2 x 5 enclosure. So, yeah, that's gonna be tough to heat and to get humid. It does look like it'll hold the humidity once it's in there, but once you open that door, you'll lose it. Five feet of height is too much for a ball python, even dangerous. This would work better for a long, slender-bodied, arboreal species than for a ball python.

I thought that too but when looking into it you can get Locks to lock the zipper too

Right you are! Sorry, I was looking at the wrong version. I still think it's a bad idea. Unless you're planning on keeping it in a 27C (80F) room, then heating it is going to require some creative engineering. Creative engineering is fun for those that enjoy it, but it rarely results in cost savings or a better product. I know this from personal experience. So, I'd advise you to invest your money in a more conventional pvc enclosure.

Re: Grow tent
I have a reptile room that’s never below 25c that’s the problem in uk pvc is harder to come by bigger than 4 foot anyway I’m doing a lot of research into it before making a decision I want to upgrade all my pythons to 5 foot plus so I’m looking into it all first
