I wouldn't think broken rib- that's usually concave, not convex as this is. Yes, I'd get a vet to take a look- it's hard to see exactly where this is on her body, but the vet will know & have a much better idea as to what it might be (based on underlying organs). Does it feel firm or mushy? Is it movable?

Re: Weird bump
It's firm/not moveable and about 5 inches from her head. She's 30~ inches long.

And btw, ribs are on the sides, not on the ventral area as this bump is.
Yes, I would ask a vet- one that specializes in snakes & exotics/reptiles. This may help: https://arav.site-ym.com/search/custom.asp?id=3661

She sure is a beautiful snake, & I really hope it's nothing serious going on.

I don't want to make you panic or anything but yes, vet appointment asap and hopefully they can at least do an x-ray for you.
Seeing exactly where that lump is, that's not a good place. That is around the area of where a BP's heart is. I know someone who had a sudden lump appear in that area on their snake and it was a heart condition. The one on that snake grew fairly quickly. I would try to keep tabs on how large it is now and make notes if it changes.
She seems like a pretty good weight, so I would personally fast her until she can see the vet if the appointment is soon. Because of the area I would try not to put too much pressure on it and minimize stretching and that includes from meals. If for some reason she become lethargic and weak or starts laying with her mouth open, that is an emergency and can not wait.
Fingers crossed for you both! Please keep us updated!

I was thinking enlarged heart also, but really didn't want to say that. And there's other things it could be so let's think positive & let the vet figure this out.

Definitely hoping it's something else!
I'm hoping it's just a frustratingly located cyst.
