This is the only answer you need. Keepers discussing things being too expensive is s bit worrisome at times. I've had a preheat panel for years now and don't even consider its reliability. The time saved from travel buying ****ty bulbs outweighs cost any day. The fact that my snake or enclosure can't readily melt to a bulb is also a plus.
