I've never heard of the NOLA Irish mob so I looked it up real quick- it sounds like it's no longer active? I hope? But it's good for you to be aware of family history, I guess, in case it ever comes up somehow. We can't pick our parents (or family history) anyway, all we can do is make the best of it. And I guess you no longer live in Louisiana, so that helps, I suppose, as local law enforcement might make incorrect assumptions if you're ever in trouble there- I'm sure they don't forget so easily. Personally, I'd just stay out of trouble, lol- & I do tend to be "boring" anyway.
And just to be sure, I just searched for meaning of black roses (which admittedly I'm not used to receiving), & while I assumed it meant something like "death to the recipient" apparently there are many other possible meanings, so I don't know what to tell you there.
