There are a couple small, less populated east coast beaches that I really like. I'm not into the packed touristy type beaches. The beach is my happy place. But right now I'd settle for a salt water pool, especially if it was in my own backyard.Originally Posted by Bogertophis

I never liked swimming in the ocean on the West coast- hanging out at the beach, sure- but not in the water. (Too much pollution, it's usually cold, you're always stepping in "beach tar" & you're always getting tangled in kelp...I know, I'm "picky"-
)
