    Theres worse things to be woken up by at 5.30 thats for sure, they was outside our balcony most mornings, there was some sort of fruit ripening on the tree, there was also a family group down On the beach . All had babies too

    seeing animals in the wild where should be such an amazing experience

    With tempting fruit trees nearby, I can imagine how little "peace" you got. But not bad for a once-in-a-lifetime memory.

    The only howlers I've met were in the National Zoo (D.C.) years ago, when I volunteered there (in the "monkey house) & brought them, their Colobus neighbors & many others their "breakfast".
