Ball Python Moving

I'm going to college in Germany and currently live in the U.S. Is it legal to own a ball python in Germany and how would one move an enclosure and snake there? Do I need to look at possibly selling my snake if I can't take it?

I know this might be a while in your mind but are you planning to live in Germany for a while? Or just for college? I'd try to get someone to watch your animal for a few years before I go through the customs stuff. If you plan on coming back to the US after college then you and the snake would have to go through the process all over again.
