Quick update, thank you guys for putting me at ease. My still unnamed boy is settling in beautifully, using his hides now and he had his first meal tonight. Took a frozen/thawed like he's been eating them his whole life! I was worried at first because he wasn't reacting, but once he finally saw it he locked on.
I'm not a bad snake mom! (at least not this week)
