Yay, spring! I know because my Texas longnose snake has taken 2 meals so far, after refusing all food for the winter months as he does every year. I don't brumate him, & he loses some weight in the winter too, but apparently it doesn't hurt anything- he's pushing 20 years old now. My rosy boa "caved" & ate before my longnose did- she also predictably skips some meals every winter.
Now that's something special!
