I promise yours was not typical. I've known multiples from different sources & bred them too. All of mine are natural patterns, btw, I can't speak for any of the morphs- when ppl do selective (& in-) breeding for appearance, they may also change the personality too, "fixing" some less desirable characteristics that aren't otherwise typical.

Mine was only a hatchling .. I knew they were nocturnal ( plus the eyes were a giveaway) but mine was reclusive and only ever peeped out of the cover if it was practically pitch black ..
Guess it was just a baby ...

Well yeah, if you didn't wait for it to grow up? Everything is scary to a tiny hatchling snake- they look like earthworms for birds to eat. But my adults are all relaxed & even nosy.
