Admittedly, it's probably overkill on a water dish that small that I'm changing every 2 days anyway. She has another water dish I don't have a penny in so it's a test of sorts to see which she drinks from more.
    Another thing the penny is supposed to do is turn the water blue if your snake has peed in it.
