I also enjoy seeing this. From what I see, most Aussie folks react properly. Rarely do you see frantic behavior. They seem to calmly notify the proper services and simply have the snake removed...

I sure HOPE that's the norm there, but maybe it's all we see because those rescuing reptiles like to film & educate others, while ppl who over-react & kill snakes don't always plan so well to document their melt-downs. I dunno, just hope you're right.
