    Not what I'd call "normal"...it wasn't there before, right? Most likely it's just a small abscess under the skin- that's the response by the snake's body to wall off a minor
    infection...I'd "wait & watch"...if you see it increase in size or turn red or ooze or bleed (all signs of increasing infection), make an appt'mt with your vet. Otherwise, it's
    not likely to be anything more than the small cut or scrape infection that we all have now & then. It's not open att, so there's no need to put medication on it either.
