If so, that might explain the wobble: snakes (& especially young snakes) don't have a lot of vertical muscle strength in their neck, but I've seen snakes do this now & then.
If that's not what yours did, we'll need a video...

I've chalked it up to the prey item being pretty small. I didn't want to overload his system with a large meal, so I fed a pinky. I think because he grabbed it and took at the corner of his mouth, (literally the farthest corner of his mouth) it was his way of getting it into the mouth correctly, along with the fact he is still kind of weak, not terribly so, but still malnourished. I am feeding him again tomorrow, so I'll see if it happens again.
