ball python newspaper
my roomate says that news paper ink could give a ball python an allergic reaction is this true

Short answer: no, it can't.
It might discolor a lighter snake, but it won't hurt them.

Newspaper is fine
The ink used is vegetable based.
The only concern is if you have a white snake it might not stay white all the time.

Ink will tranfer on to the sake and any color change will go away with the next shed, same thing with white snake and damp coconut bedding.
