On Facebook, everything is controversial. A lot of snake groups on FB are just ridiculous.
You generally don't need to soak BPs unless it's to help with stuck she'd. And even then, I've found using a warm, damp washcloth or hand towel more effective at removing shed.
Do I think soaking a snake is the worst thing ever? Not at all. Just generally not necessary.
