Ok I need to boost humidity I bit which I started doing a few days ago when he started shedding. I also covered the glass with towels so no reflections

Yeah, id try that and not bother him too much for a while.. check on him obviously, but keep stress down

It looks to me like he's stressed due to stuck shed. His eye caps look still intact so he's essentially blind. How long has the shed been stuck like that?

About 2 days. I gave him a bath go try to help with the shed and I’m raising the humidity even more now

I’d try the wet , textured towel trick !!

( without the soak initially)

Stubborn shed / retained eye caps
For real stubborn shed skin and indeed retained eye caps -the best way I found over the years is a 20 minute soak , then have a wet or very damp rough textured towel ready and gently wrap the snake in the towel .. then whilst it wriggles continually inside the towel you apply very gentle pressure to the stubborn areas on the snake ...
You may get a little wet yourself but this method ( done properly) rarely fails to be honest

Probably just hungry and thought a reflection was a food item. If he’s calm when he’s out I doubt it’s defensiveness. Could put a blanket over glass or move the enclosure to a area with less traffic.

Ok I’ve been wanting to replace that one but haven’t gotten to it. The other one has one small opening and is dark. Could one hide being open like that want him to jump at the glass though?

Short answer: Yes...Snakes NEED to have hiding places that feel secure to them. Do you sleep outside on the ground & with no blanket? Same sort of thing...
He really did a number on his nose, too. (sorry for my late response, was off-line for a while) Shed issues might also have contributed to his lashing out.
