I do think it would be fair to wait & only bill your credit card when he actually STARTS on your order. (maybe he cuts a bunch at once, & only then assembles them?)
I agree once the cutting/cnc machining starts charge me. And if it was 30 days no big deal. We are talking 4 months, that is wrong IMHO!
