    He obviously feels safe there (tank corners give "back pressure" too). Maybe if you fixed the hides like I suggested...?

    I'm surprised he isn't burrowing, though he's probably never had anything to burrow into before now, so it may take a little time for
    that too...everything is new to him, & scary.
