    As a matter of fact, I'll bet you'd enjoy a "Bogertophis subocularis" (aka Trans Pecos rat snake) too...they start off tiny, never get huge & are mellow snakes as adults-
    for a rat snake, they tend to move slow when handled...as if being "careful". And like FollowTheSun's "Noodle", they have a lot of personality & bug-eyed curiosity.
