Re: Brian Barczyk's Open Forum on Snake Rack Systems

I haven’t posted on this forum in a while but I’m really looking forward to this “town hall”. It’s interesting that you have Kenan, a complete naturalist, Emily from Snake Discovery, racks with enrichment, and then Brian, whose used racks for decades. Like others have noted, I would be interested to see research regarding rack systems without enrichment and different species responses. For example, I don’t think it would make much of a difference for my BP and western hognose. However, I could not imagine putting my jungle carpet python in a rack. I have routinely spotted her hiding/hunting in her Skyhide. This is not a shot at breeders who keep rack systems. I continue to be amazed at how you guys are able to keep and manage so many animals. I’ll definitely be watching.
