I'm 50/50 on the subject of hides in tubs for this reason. The tubs I have without hides in them is simply because after months of the animals not using them I take it upon myself to remove said hide. Was that the right choice? Should I put it back even tho the animal seems to thrive without it? Does it solely depend on that specific animal? Im excited to hear feedback on these types of questions.
Im curious about that as well, as I only use tanks, my balls love being in smaller hides so they feel kinda cramped. But in the wild ive seen how they kinda have a din. Is that what the tub feels like and they feel more at home? That’s something I’d like to know as well
