My policy is to ignore any calls that aren't saved to my contacts list. I save companies I've ordered from just in case something comes up or when I'm expecting a call, but other than that if it isn't important enough to leave a message for explaining why it is an unknown number, I don't care. I haven't see "The Wolf of Wall Street" but I can imagine, lol...probably similar to my reaction when telemarketers call me.
I have seen a trend lately where telemarketers match your middle 3 digits of your phone number to trick you into thinking it is a number you know and somehow don't have in your contacts. I block these outright.
