Absolutely! Would love to meet up.
I'll likely leave in about 2 hours to go there, because It's nearly a 3 hour drive, so I'm going to stay in a hotel Friday & Saturday. I'll be there first thing in the morning though, I like to draw from the basket of being the first 100 people lol.

    Nice!

Yea, I'm bringing my wife & oldest daughter (she's 29) and I'm waiting to hear from her as to what time she wants to go. Hopefully it'll be fairly early as I like to pick from the basket too.

I know this thread is a couple months old but I just recently got out of the Army and moved to Dodson, LA. Where could I go to get information about expo’s throughout the state of Louisiana? I really have my heart set on a Rosy Boa. Would much rather buy one in person vs the internet.

    Lizzy, 2010
    Etta, 2013
    1.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons

Please excuse the spelling in my posts. Auto-Correct is my worst enema.

HERPS are the best show to go to. The repticon shows here are a joke, and I often see many people complaining about them in other states as well. They don't care what you sell, so you end up with vendors selling bathtub fixtures, rainbow vacuum cleaners and such. I'm sorry but if it's not reptile related, they need to stop that. Because of this, so many vendors won't vend repticon shows, especially here in Louisiana. HERPS is ran by Shawn, and he makes sure all the animals on the tables are healthy, if something looks to be in bad shape, he will tell the vendor to take it off.

If you're in Dodson the two closest HERP shows will be either in Lake Charles, LA or Longview, TX.

The Longview show was apparently yesterday and today.

The next one in the area is Lake Charles on November 2nd & 3rd. Though they do have one in Conroe, TX September 7th & 8th, but I want to say that's over a 4 hour drive but if you make a weekend trip out of it, maybe worth it. Conroe is one of the best shows, and is the best show regarding venomous, so that's why I go once a year or every other year.
