No big deal...you didn't owe anyone an explanation, & I doubt there's any person alive that doesn't react negatively to something. I hope you can get rid of this issue

I have so many things in my house with tiny "on" lights that it's hard to find a totally dark room, lol. You know what lights I find very soothing are these "salt lamps"-
they have a tiny bulb inside (like used on Christmas trees) so they aren't bright at all, but with the light inside the salt crystal, it gives off a very relaxing orange-glow.
