How to bring home new snakes

You’re not to far off as far as how to go about it. You have a decent plan. I’ve always used modified coolers. I also suggest bringing a temp gun. You have to be careful because it’s easier then you think to overheat them in the car also. So you gotta be careful both ways. Best of luck.

Hey, I’m to Probably going to Tinley too! As long as your snakes aren’t going to be in the cold for too long, they’ll be fine in the car. If you want, it would be a good idea to bring a styrofoam cooler with holes drilled in and add a REPTILE SAFE heat pack in it (don’t use hand warmers, they can heat up to 120 degrees and can seriously burn or even kill your reptiles.) Buy specialty heat packs made specifically for reptiles and amphibians which only heat to 70-80 degrees. Other than that, it should be a fun time!

I didn't realize hand warmers got that warm thank you for the advice. I'll look into reptile warmers.
